High Definition Production & Editing:

In order to capture authentic and meaningful moments that will best tell a story, I work with a small, unobtrusive HD camera. This allows me to be more conversational in my interactions and more reactive and fluid in my movements. Depending on the project, I try to shoot and edit on a video journalist’s schedule: 1-2 days per short video.

Video Publishing & Distribution:

An online video short has contextual information that helps its findability on the web. Descriptive text, meta-tags, and proper placement on various social networking platforms are parts of an overall strategy of reaching communities of common interest. These are not after-thoughts, but fully integrated into production and post-production.

Web Design

A good website tells a story. I have a “narrative” style that relies on photography, video and simple graphic elements to convey a story world. All sites are hand-coded with XHTML/CSS (and HTML5). I can also provide photography and video services.

The growing popularity of GPS phones makes geographic meta-data another important factor in findability and discoverability. I design mobile-friendly websites and locative video experiences, such as walking tours, that are geotagged for popular mobile applications.
